PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color toner that can restrain the occurrences of transfer failures and fixing failures, in a color image forming device of the tandem system having an intermediate transfer body. SOLUTION: The color toner is used in an image forming device, in which a plurality of image forming units equipped with a photoconductor drum, a charging device and a development device are disposed on an intermediate transfer body along its moving direction, which transfers a toner image formed on the photoconductor drum of each image forming unit sequentially for forming a color toner image, and collectively transfers the color toner image to the recording medium. Microparticles of metal oxides which are subjected to titanate coupling processing are added to a plurality of toner bases of different colors, respectively. The amount of titanate coupling processed microparticles of metal oxides, added to the toner base of each color, satisfies the relational expression (I): 0≤T1<T2≤T3≤...≤Tn, where the amount is T1, T2, T3, ..., Tn (n is an integer of 3 or larger), in the order of the transfer of the toner images.
