PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage machine capable of precisely sensing shoulder positions of a user and whether or not the user sit on the seat in a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The massage machine has a backrest section 10a, massaging balls 402a to 402d arranged in the backrest section 10a and massaging the user, a medical treating section 40 moving a pair of massaging ball arms 403R, 403L supporting the massaging balls 402a to 402d responding to massage movement, a sensor section 100 sensing the biological signals of the user from the impedance change between a pair of massage arms 403R, 403L, and a control section 13 controlling the massage movement of the massaging balls 402a to 402d. The control section 13 determines the body type of the user by moving the medical treating section 40 and by detecting the signals according to the biological signals in the predetermined range.
