PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To completely prevent infiltration of rainwater into a concrete wall via a connecting rod. SOLUTION: An end fastening body 4 is composed of a facing member 6 and a nut member 7. A water cut-off member 8 composed of an unvulcanized butyl rubber body 8a and the water soluble outer cover 8b is arranged in a recessed part 8c of the facing member 6. Thus, water is cut off between the facing member 6 and the nut member 7 by the body 8a. When a tip screw part 2a of the connecting rod 2 is threadedly installed in the nut member 7 via a central hole 9 of the water cut-off member 8, a part of the body 8a is screwed in the nut member 7 by being entangled with the tip screw part 2a. Thus, the water is cut off between the tip screw part 2a and the nut member 7. When placing ready-mixed concrete in a form 3, the outer cover 8b melts by moisture in the ready-mixed concrete, and the body 8a and the ready-mixed concrete directly contact.
