PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid finishing agent composition for a fiber product, capable of imparting deodorizing or odor attachment-preventing effects of a food smell and a tobacco smell, and having improved dispersion stability. SOLUTION: The liquid finishing agent composition for the fiber product contains (a) one or more kinds of metal oxide particles having≥0.1 nm and≤1,000 nm average particle diameter, and (b) a cationic surfactant mixture containing a tertiary amine, a neutralized product thereof or a quaternized product thereof regulated so that the content of a cationic surfactant having two or three long chain hydrocarbon groups is≥50% based on the whole amount of the mixture.
