PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for a conductive material capable of forming a conductive layer having excellent carrier transport ability, a conductive material having excellent carrier transport ability and produced by using the composition for conductive material, a conductive layer produced by using the conductive material as a main material, and electronic device and electronic equipment having high reliability. SOLUTION: The composition for conductive material contains a compound expressed by general formula (1) (two R<SP>1</SP>groups are each independently a 2-8C straight-chain alkyl; four R<SP>2</SP>groups are each independently hydrogen atom, methyl group or ethyl group; two X groups are each independently a substituent expressed by general formula (2); and Y is a group containing at least one substituted or unsubstituted aromatic hydrocarbon ring).
