PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder which can carry out image recording by using a high-viscosity ink without a driving force increased or a nozzle diameter made large, and by a small power consumption. SOLUTION: When an indication of image recording start is inputted to a control part 70 (S20), the control part 70 indicates to output a high frequency signal S3 to a driving circuit 74 (S22). At the driving circuit 74, upon receipt of the indication, the high frequency signal S3 is outputted to all of piezoelectric elements 36 of an inkjet recording head 112 (S24). Consequently, the high frequency signal S3 is impressed to the piezoelectric elements 36. The piezoelectric elements 36 are driven by the high frequency signal S3 (S26), and vibration of a high frequency is generated to the ink in an ink discharge nozzle 10. Viscosity of the ink is decreased by the vibration. Outputting of the high frequency signal S3 from the driving circuit 74 to the piezoelectric elements 36 is continued until image recording data are outputted from the control part 70.
