<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of surely operating a macro function even in the case of an event asynchronously generated with a user operation, and to provide its control method, program and a storage medium. <P>SOLUTION: An MFP100 as the image processor has a scanner 104 and a printer 105 which operate a copy function, a macro control part 245 and a macro function part 340 which operate the macro function. The macro control part 245 manage the user operation and an event generated by the user operation as a pair. In the macro function, recording processing for creating a macro file 700 consisting of a plurality of scripts from an operation based on the user operation and a reproduction processing for reproducing the operation are executed.
