PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power-steering device which carries out temperature compensation of generating torque of a motor using a temperature sensor for detecting a temperature of a control board for motor driving. SOLUTION: The motor 10 and the control board 20 for driving and controlling the motor are adjacently stored in a part of a rack case for slidably storing a rack shaft in the electric power-steering device. The electric power-steering device has a temperature detection means 50 for the control board which detects a temperature Tb of the control board 20, arithmetic means 61, 62 for a target electric current which calculate a target electric current Io that drives and controls the motor 10, based on a detection signal of a torque sensor, an arithmetic means 67 for a correction coefficient which calculates the correction coefficient q corresponding, as a motor temperature, to the temperature Tb of the control board 20 detected by the temperature detection means 50 of the control board from a preset correspondence relation of the correction coefficient of the target electric current to the motor temperature that carries out temperature compensation of a torque constant, and correction arithmetic means 67, 63 which correct the target electric current Io by the correction coefficient q.
