<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable automatic accounting system compatible with a noncontact radio IC tag that uses the noncontact radio IC tag and appropriately acquires information from the noncontact radio IC tag only of a detection target. <P>SOLUTION: A reader/writer antenna section 101 receives an information signal only from a target noncontact radio IC tag, and a carrier switch 105 recognizes an information processing range of a detection object in a controller section 103.
