PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems as securing a fan installation place in an apparatus such as an image forming apparatus and securing an exhaust path by reducing the number of fans for cooling hard disk in addition to increasing cooling efficiency. SOLUTION: A pipe 7 for water cooling is arranged around an equipment main body of the image forming apparatus or the like, and cooling water circulates inside by a pump 8. The cooling water is cooled inside the pipe 7 during circulation leaving from a hard disk 6. Thereby, cooling efficiency of the equipment main body of the image forming apparatus or the like is improved, the number of fans provided for cooling the hard disk 6 can be eliminated or reduced. Therefore, it is not required that installation places of fans are provided in the image forming apparatus or the like, or even if it is provided, only a small space may be required, further, the exhaust path is not required, or even if it is provided, a large space is not required.
