METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR, STRIPPING LIQUID FOR ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR, AND ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a superior electrophotographic photoreceptor which gives a favorable stripping state and can continuously maintain the stripping performance when an unnecessary part of a coating film of the photoreceptor having coating film layers at least one layer of which is curable is removed by using a stripping liquid, and to provide the stripping liquid for the electrophotographic photoreceptor and the electrophotographic photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a step of removing an unnecessary part of at least one layer of a curable coating film formed on a conductive substrate by using the stripping liquid, wherein the stripping liquid comprises an organic solvent having≤200°C boiling point and capable of containing at least 10 mass% water as a main solvent, and the stripping liquid contains water by 0.5 to 10.0 mass%.
