PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize application of high refrigerant pressure to a flow channel switching device such as a three-way switch valve switched to a cutoff position when stopping a compressor, in a refrigeration cycle wherein a gas refrigerant is air-cooled by a radiator in a supercritical zone with state variation. SOLUTION: The flow channel switching device 16 is mounted in the refrigeration cycle of this refrigerator 1 for allowing the refrigerant from the radiator 13 to flow to a first evaporator 6 side or a second evaporator 7 side, the refrigerant flowing to the second evaporator side from the flow channel switching device flows into a gas-liquid separator 32 through a first expansion part 31 for the second evaporator, the gas refrigerant is returned to an intermediate pressure part 11c of the compressor 11, and the liquid refrigerant is returned to the compressor through second expansion parts 41, 42 for the second evaporator and the second evaporator. Then a delay means 51 switches the flow channel switching device with delay, when the compressor is stopped, and the flow channel switching device is switched from the first evaporator side to the cutoff position.
