PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a gas-filled body which, in the fusion cutting process of the gas-filled body, can certainly perform the fusion cutting to form the gas-filled body, and to provide a mold for fabricating the gas-filled body. SOLUTION: The method comprises the step wherein two synthetic resin sheets 16, 16 are laid one on the other; the step wherein, by pressing the gas-filled body fabricating mold 18 against the synthetic resin sheets 16, 16 that have been placed one over the other from the upside of them to weld the two synthetic resin sheets 16, 16, there are formed, between the two synthetic resin sheets 16, 16, the gas introduction part 11, the communicating tubes 13 thin in width that are branched from the gas introduction part 11 and the gas-filled parts 14 provided in a row through the communicating tubes 13; the step wherein the gas-filled parts 11 equipped in a row through the communicating tubes 13 are expanded by introducing the gas through the gas introduction part 11; the step wherein, by fusion-cutting the gas-filling side edge parts 15 of the communicating tubes 13, the gas is sealed in the gas-filled parts 14 and the gas-filled parts 14 is formed into a predetermined shape; and the step wherein the gas-filled parts 14 having the predetermined shape are taken out from the synthetic resin sheets 16, 16.
