PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain sufficient damping force to the inclination of a water tub as well as effectively obtaining sufficient damping force to the vibration of the water tub along the axial direction of dampers. SOLUTION: In this drum type washing machine supporting the water tub 27 provided with a drum 30 inside, by the dampers 33 and rubber vibration isolators 35, 36, 43 stacked thereon, the rubber vibration isolators 35, 36, 43 have outlines shaped to have linear portions parallel with an orthogonal direction to the direction of vibration in a specific direction of the water tub 27. Portions, long in distance from the axis of the water tub 27, of the rubber vibration isolators 35, 36, 43 where large reaction is generated, are thereby increased, and large reaction is generated in total by that portion to obtain sufficient damping force to the inclination of the water tub 27.
