PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel, useful storage unit devised and improved to make effective use of the inner void of a storage case to the maximum being mounted in close contact with the storage case without being hindered by wiring or the like required for electric supply and data transfer while being capable of electromagnetically performing individual management of articles stored in the storage case, without depending on the function of the storage case. SOLUTION: A first storage space S1 and a second storage space S2 are formed in a casing 11, wherein the first storage space S1 stores files F, and the second storage space S2 stores a control panel 33 which is a device with wiring required to electromagnetically manage the first storage space S1, a connector part 32 for an antenna 31, a cylinder lock 51 of a locking means 5, and the like. The casing 11 is constituted to be detachably built in a piled state inside the storage case 2 together with casings 11 of other storage units 1, and at least a part of the casing 11 surrounding the second storage space S2 is provided with a vertically continuous recess 15.
