PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher/dryer for home use to be incorporated (built in), capable of relieving adverse effects of malodor emitted from a steam outlet to air in a kitchen in the drying process. SOLUTION: The dishwasher/dryer A comprises a washing compartment 2 to wash and dry the tableware 1 and the steam outlet 4 for discharging steam 3 generated in the interior of the washing compartment 2. The dishwasher/dryer also has an aromatic material releasing part 6 for vaporizing and releasing an aromatic material 5 as the steam 3 is discharged by the heating with the steam 3 discharged from the steam outlet 4.
