<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording medium for reliably recording and reading data while securing sufficient wear resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The information recording medium is provided with a base 11, information layers 12 formed on the base 11, and an optical transmission layer 13 and a hard coat layer 14 formed on the information layers 12 and having optical transmission property. By irradiating the information layer 12 with a laser beam L from the side of the hard coat layer 14 (the optical transmission layer 13), data is read. The softening point of the hard coat layer 14 as a resin layer positioned on the incident side of the laser beam L from the optical transmission layer 13 is regulated to be lower than that of the optical transmission layer 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
