<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bar code label for easily and surely performing the reading operation of a bar code by a pen scanner. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of slits 2a to 2d half-cut following the scanning direction of a customer code 1a printed on the print face of a label 1 are formed on a cardboard 2 of a bar code label 1A. When the label 1 peeled from the cardboard 2 is adhered to an adhesion object 24, a portion of the cardboard 2 is made to remain following any of those slit 2a to 2d, and a difference in level 1c or a hollow is formed in the scanning direction of the customer code 1a according to the thickness of a portion of the cardboard 2 after the label 1 is adhered to the adhesion object 24, and the top end of a pen scanner 25 is guided following the difference in level 1c or the hollow. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
