PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel capable of passing adjustment values of a sub-unit to a camera main body side without spoiling size reduction of the camera main body.

SOLUTION: The lens barrel 1 has at least one or more sub-units, which are each provided with a wireless IC tag 4 where information can be read and written through wireless communication. In the wireless IC tag 4, adjustment values obtained as the sub-units are adjusted are written through the wireless communication.
