<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a hood release lever, which can eliminate an influence exerted by variations in fastening strength, which can reduce the number of components and the number of man-hours for mounting, and which can reduce the size of a base part. <P>SOLUTION: This mounting structure of the hood release lever 17 for unlocking a hood locking device of the vehicle via a cable 18 is equipped with the base part 22 which is mounted on a mounting part 21 on the side of a vehicle body and which locks a cable outer 44 of the cable 18, and a lever part 23 which is turnably pivoted on the base part 22 and which locks a cable inner 45 of the cable 18.
