PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively correct a scanning line bending and deterioration in a wavefront aberration in an obliquely incident type optical scanner which is suitable for reducing cost, reducing power consumption and miniaturization. SOLUTION: At least a light beam from a plurality of light source units has an angle in a subscanning direction with respect to the normal line of a reflection face of a light deflector 23, a scanning optical system has at least two scanning lenses L1 and L2, at least one of the scanning lenses of the scanning optical system is shared by a plurality of light beams directed to different faces to be scanned 25, and at least one face of the scanning lens located at the side of the light deflector 23 with respect to the scanning lens having the largest refraction power in the subscanning direction at a position at which the light beam passes is a special face having a non-circular arc in the subscanning direction and in which the non-circular arc quantity corresponding to a main scanning direction varies.
