PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inexpensively and neatly manufacturing an accelerating tube so that the accelerating tube can make its resonance frequency approximately constant. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the accelerating tube provided with an element tube formed by alternately piling a plurality of cylindrical spacers and aperture discs to form a tube structure 45 and integrating them with an electroformed layer on the perimeter of the tube structure 45 comprises the steps of: immersing the tube structure 45 in an inorganic electroforming liquid 41 for a main body, which is formed of an inorganic material; immersing a test specimen 55 into an inorganic electroforming liquid 51 for the test specimen, which has approximately the same liquid composition as the inorganic electroforming liquid 41 for the main body; starting electroforming while applying the same current density to the tube structure 45 and the test specimen 55; measuring electrodeposition stress on the test specimen 55 as the need arises; and proceeding electroforming while increasing or decreasing the current density according to a deviation between the measured value and the targeted electrodeposition stress.
