PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium carrying device with a simple structure capable of carrying a recording medium while absorbing the fluctuation of the thickness of the recording medium and correcting camber. SOLUTION: An energizing means for energizing support arms 27 so as to make a pressing roller 4b pressed to a driving roller 4a side is provided with first and second elastic members 29, 30 having different energizing forces at the support arms 27 on both sides so as to increase the pressure of the pressing roller 4b when the thickness of the recording medium fluctuates and the pressing roller 4b is pushed back to the direction away from the driving roller 4a.
