PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging container which can increase an area of an information indication surface indicating information significant to a purchaser such as a consumer, in addition to use simply for the packaging of a commodity, the information indication surface of which is concealed in shipping and can be exposed in sale or purchase, which enables the return of the commodity or the waste commodity for being used and discarded after the packaged commodity is taken out, or enables the packaging of an article such as various kinds of commodities, sent, for example, mailed from a sender, and which enables the used article or the other article housed after the article is taken out, so as to be sent, for example, mailed to the sender or the other sender. SOLUTION: This packaging container comprises lower and upper overlapping parts which are overlapped with each other. Part or the whole of the upper overlapping part is formed so as to be peeled off in such a manner as not to be completely separable from the lower overlapping part; and information is described or can described on the overlapping surface of the peeled upper overlapping part and/or an exposable exposed surface of the lower overlapping part.
