PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper folding device capable optionally changing a starting position of end edge folding of a distal end of paper. SOLUTION: The paper folding device is provided with paper conveying means 11, 16, 30 for conveying the paper; paper folding means 14, 15 for forming a crease on the paper conveyed by the paper conveying means; and folding starting position changing means 100, 17, 23, 30 for changing the folding starting position relative to the paper by the paper folding means according to difference of paper size.
