PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lint removing device capable of removing lint caught by a filter face with simple structure and easily preventing separated lint from sticking again to the filter face regarding the lint removing device provided at a laundry dryer or the like. SOLUTION: The lint removing device is provided with two dampers 13, 20 arranged on the inflow side and at the back face of the filter face 16. When a blower 5 is stopped to close the back face damper 20 in the accumulated state of lint on the filter face 16, the lint accumulated in layers is put in a lifted state from the filter face. When the blower 5 is operated again in the closed state of the dampers 13, 20, an air stream flows along the filter face 16 from a slit formed between an inflow damper 13 and the upstream end of the front face of the filter face, and the lint is separated from the filter face as it is entangled in layers, and falls inside an air passage 8.
