PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sense and announce the occurrence of an unforeseen situation where the number of game balls exceeding an estimated number simultaneously enter a big win opening. SOLUTION: In the pachinko game machine, the big winning opening 32 has an opening and closing portion which game balls can enter. A big winning opening and closing control means 82 opens the opening and closing portion of the big winning opening 32 at the time when a game ball enters a start opening 28. An entering ball detection means 72 is provided in the inside of the big winning opening 32 and detects a ball when the ball enters the big winning opening 32 through the opening and closing portion. A discharge detection means 75 is provided in the inside of the big winning opening 32 and detects the discharge of a game ball entering the big winning opening 32 when the game ball is discharged out of the big winning opening 32 through a specific area or an area other than the specific area.
