The invention relates to a control device for breaking and closing the circuit of an electric battery, consisting of an electric motor (26) comprising an inverter which drives a toothed wheel (30) in one direction in order to close the circuit and in the other direction in order to break the circuit. According to the invention, the toothed wheel is equipped with a drive cam which is intended to co-operate with stop elements in order to limit the rotation of the toothed wheel in one direction and the other. The invention is characterised in that the device comprises a blocking piece (36) which is made from a material having a certain elasticity and which is disposed such that, at the end of the circuit-closing cam stroke, the cam abuts against one end (39) of the blocking piece (36) and, at the end of the circuit-breaking stroke, the cam abuts against the other end (37) of the blocking piece (36). |
