A supporting core has a rigid inner sleeve (RIS) (13), a plastic lining (14) and a rigid outer sleeve (ROS) (12), all of which fit around a motor's axle and closely interlink. A number of ribs (15) can be provided as required in an axial direction along the inner wall of the ROS and along the outer wall of the RIS. Grooves can be provided instead of ribs.
