This slide device is installed between a mobile phone main body and a lid body. The slide device comprises a hook (4), an elastic member (18) urging the lid body in the opening direction, and a lock unit (28) for locking the lid body in its closed position. When a lock body (29) is pushed, the engagement between the lock unit (28) and the lock section (21) of the hook (4) is released.
