<p>The invention concerns an installation comprising at least first and second grippers (8, 9) for moving and positioning blanks (2) along a path (X-X') of said blanks (2). Each of said first and second grippers (8, 9) is mobile parallel to the path (X-X') of the blanks. A plate (12) supporting the blanks (2) is provided with a slot (11) allowing through the grippers (8, 9), each gripper being mobile between a retracted position beneath the plate (12), for its empty displacement upstream, and a position wherein it projects above the plate and can grip one blank and move it downstream. The grippers (8, 9) are capable of crossing each other, so as to shift from one relative position wherein the first gripper (9) is upstream of the second gripper (8) to a relative position wherein the second gripper (8) is upstream of the first gripper (9). The invention also concerns methods of working on blanks using said installation.</p> |
