<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more early and surely detect a sign that wrinkles occur on a recording material on which an image is formed. <P>SOLUTION: In this image forming apparatus 100, a regular invisible image is formed on a form with invisible toner. After fixing, the invisible image on the form is read by a sensor 45, and whether or not the turbulence is in the regularity is determined. When it is determined that the turbulence is in the regularity, information related to the occurrence of wrinkles on the form is outputted.
