<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of avoiding data demagnetizing trouble of a passbook due to a variety of external magnetic fields, while suppressing modification of a conventional passbook operation system to a minimum. <P>SOLUTION: The method of avoiding data demagnetizing trouble of the passbook, comprising a magnetic recording area of the passbook is set as a two-layer structure of a low antimagnetic layer on which variable data are recorded and high antimagnetic layer on which fixed data are recorded, reads the fixed data recorded on the high antimagnetic layer, when the variable data recorded on the low antimagnetic layer cannot be read normally, and continues processing by compensating for the variable data from a host computer, based on the fixed data or with the data of the previous processing recognized by optically reading the passbook. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
