<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum heat insulating material retaining heat insulation properties for a long time even though it is the vacuum heat insulating material whose at least a part of a casing material is folded, and to provide a refrigerator, a water heater and a printer which use the vacuum heat insulating material and save energy. <P>SOLUTION: At least one of heat-transfer surfaces of a core 3 is covered by the laminate structured casing material 2 having two or more gas barrier layers 5, 7 consisting metal foil layers or vapor-deposited layers across a second protective layer 6 being a plastic film layer. Thereby, even though at least a part of the casing material 2 is folded, shapes of ridge lines produced on the metal foil layers or vapor-deposited layers forming two gas barrier layers 5, 7 are finely different, and locations of small holes formed in the metal foil layers or vapor-deposited layers are finely shifted. Besides, one plastic layer (second protective layer 6) intervenes between the metal foil layers or vapor-deposited layers, therefore, lowering of gas barrier properties is restricted to the minimum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
