<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deployment controller for an airbag capable of suppressing increase of cost of the controller and suppressing increase of processing load even when deployment information is increased in accordance with diversification of deployment form of the airbag. <P>SOLUTION: This deployment controller for the airbag has an ROM 3 storing common deployment information applied to all kinds of vehicles in a plurality of kinds of vehicles among deployment information used to determine deployment form of the airbag, an EEPROM 4 storing individual deployment information applied to a part of kinds of vehicles in the plurality of kinds of vehicles among deployment information, and an RAM 5 including both of common deployment information and individual deployment information and storing mask deployment information masked by the individual deployment information which is not used depending on kind of vehicle among the individual deployment information.
