<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To help provide generation of sound quality presentation of a stereo resonance and a relatively tough structure by installing a soundbox on an inner face of a sole plate of a head body and forming a frame body for the stereo resonance in the soundbox and, at the same time, to enhance an added value of the head, increase reliability of the structure and lengthen a service life of the head as well by installing a sound adjusting unit according to demand. <P>SOLUTION: The golf club head comprises the head main body 1 and the soundbox 2. The head body 1 comprises the sole plate 11, a crown plate 12 and a face plate 13 and has an inside space 10 encircled by the plates 11, 12 and 13 together. The soundbox 2 is connected with the space 10 and has at least one resonator 21 that has a sound chamber 20 formed by being encircled together. Providing an effect of the stereo resonance by the resonator 21 and the sound chamber 20 enables a change in pattern of the resonance and the vibrations of the head main body, and further the generation of a relatively excellent impact sound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
