PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel capable of preventing the positional shifting of both of a hub and a flange to each other during the welding of them and a reduction in the welding strength of them even with a simple structure. SOLUTION: The reel 20 made of a resin is provided with an upper flange 24 integrally formed in the end of an opening 27 side, a bottomed cylindrical hub 22 on which a recording tape T is wound, and a lower flange 26 disposed in the side end of the bottom wall 28 of the hub 22 by welding to hold the width-direction end of the recording tape T with the upper flange 24.
