PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which improves impact resistance of a built-in hard disk drive. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: a first case 2; a second case 3 which is fitted into the first case so as to slide; imaging units 4, 11 which are provided in the first case or the second case to receive reflection light from an object through a lens and output image information corresponding to the reflection light; buffering members 6, 8, 9 connected to the first case and the second case, respectively to be expanded/compressed in accordance with sliding of the second case; and a recording unit 5 connected through the buffering members to the first case and the second case for recording image information outputted from the imaging units into a storage region. In the imaging apparatus, the recording unit is held through the buffering members into a space when the second case slides, thereby improving impact resistance. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
