PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power-steering device at a low cost which carries out temperature compensation of a torque sensor using a temperature sensor for detecting a temperature of a control board and has a small number of components and a small control board. SOLUTION: The electric power-steering device has a torque detection circuit 40 which outputs a detection signal of the torque sensor as a torque detection voltage Vt, a temperature detection means 50 for the control board which detects a temperature of the control board 20, an arithmetic means 65 for an estimated temperature rise which calculates the estimated temperature rise due to heat generation of a motor based on electric current flowing the motor, an estimation means 66 for an atmospheric temperature which estimates the atmospheric temperature Tev of a common space based on the temperature of the control substrate detected by the temperature detection means 50 for the control board and the estimated temperature rise calculated by the arithmetic means 65 for the estimated temperature rise, and correction means 67, 61 which correct the torque detection voltage Vt based on the atmospheric temperature Tev estimated by the estimation means 66 for the atmospheric temperature.
