PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of noise due to a speed reducer connected to an electric motor, in a vehicular steering device. SOLUTION: The vehicular steering device is provided with the electric motor 31 for assisting steering. Rotation output of the electric motor 15 is reduced and converted into a linear motion by a ball screw mechanism 16 to be transmitted to a rack bar 14. An electronic control unit 24 adds control torque related to the rotation speed of the electric motor 15 to target steering assist torque, thereby controlling the rotation torque of the electric motor 15. The control torque is calculated on the basis of anglular speedωcalculated by using a motor rotation angleθm detected by a rotation angle sensor 22, and is a feedback control signal showing a differential value between a target value and detected speed for suppressing changes in the angular speedω.
