PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storing box capable of appropriately meeting users' demands of using the box in various ways. SOLUTION: The storing box X has a large partitioned storage space consisting of a plurality of virtual small sections m by assembling pieces selected from a plurality of different kinds of pieces formed to be surrounded by the selected pieces. Each piece includes, on at least one of its sides, an assembly reference side of a size of an approximately integral multiple of a reference size serving as a formation unit of the small section m. The selected pieces are assembled with the assembly reference side as reference, whereby the large partitioned storage space of a polygonal shape in a cross sectional view consisting of the plurality of virtual small sections m is formed to be surrounded by the selected pieces.
