PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door for a railway vehicle that has a lightweight and highly rigid honeycomb sandwich structure and can effectively suppress the propagation of harsh noise involved in running at high speed of a vehicle into the interior of the vehicle through a door part. SOLUTION: The whole core material 3 interposed between aluminum face plates 1, 2 on both inner and outer sides of a car comprises an aluminum honeycomb 31 comprising hexagonal cells having a face-to-face dimension of 5 to 13 mm.
