PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knee bolster structure of a vehicle capable of assuring a certain degree of freedom in adjusting the load on the knee of a driver/passenger through combination of different plate thicknesses etc., precluding movement of the under-part of a knee bolster panel when the knee of a driver/passenger of small physique goes in collision, controlling the knee loads of driver/passengers having various physiques, and enhancing the impact absorbing performance for various forms of collision. SOLUTION: The knee bolster structure of the vehicle is structured so that a pair of left and right top surface knee bolster panels 4 and 5 having flanges 14 and 15 are installed at a certain spacing on a steering support member 3 extending along the vehicle width direction while undersurface knee bolster panels 6 and 7 having flanges 16 and 17 are installed on the reverse of the top surface knee bolster panels 4 and 5, wherein the heights of the flanges 14-17 of the top surface knee bolster panels 4 and 5 and the undersurface knee bolster panels 6 and 7 are adjusted by their installing positions.
