PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treatment apparatus equipped with a deodorizing function capable of treating garbage by heating and stirring the same and cutting off an offensive smell caused by the treatment of garbage. SOLUTION: A container 3 having a housing space 4 for housing garbage is provided to an apparatus main body 1 and stirring blades 5 for stirring garbage by rotating a motor 6 are provided in the container 3 while a heater 13 and a fan 14 for sending hot air into the container are attached to the lid 2 of the apparatus main body 1 and a catalyst 17 for decomposing and deodorizing the offensive smell occurring at the time of treatment of garbage is provided and a nozzle 18 for spraying a deodorizing liquid 20 by operating a pump 21 is attached.
