PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pants type disposable diaper in which the moving and falling down of the diaper hardly occurs due to the movement of a wearer during wearing the diaper. SOLUTION: An area 71 where pressures is 1.1 to 2.5 kPa at the time of wearing the diaper is present between a waist opening portion 5 and leg opening portions 6, respectively in an abdominal side portion A and a back side portion B of the pants type disposable diaper 1. The width of the above area 71 is 15 to 35 mm. The distance from the center line in the longitudinal direction to the center position of the above area of the abdominal side portion A is 180 to 220 mm, and the distance from the center line in the longitudinal to the central position of the above area of the back side portion B is 180 to 220 mm when the diaper 1 is expanded.
