The mirror has a resonant, asymmetrical Fabry-perot interferometer with a highly reflecting rear mirror (1) and a partially transmitting front mirror (2) between which thin saturable absorber layers in the form of quantum wells (3) are embedded. The wells (3) are arranged in a cavity (5) between the front and rear mirrors in respective ranges of maxima of an electric field strength of a stationary wave field. The rear mirror and the absorber layers includes single-crystals semiconductor materials, and the front mirror includes dielectric layers.
