<p>The method involves dividing an exhaust air (m13) into larger and smaller parts. The larger part is heated through direct mixing with a combustion gas that is produced through mixing of a fuel with the small part. The developed mixture is supplied to a catalytic combustion for transformation of pollutants in order to obtain a purified air flow that is introduced into a drying bay for producing a drying air for drying a sheet material. An independent claim is also included for a device for execution of a method for drying a sheet material.</p>
