Clamping profile (12) for a wall panel (10) for fixing panels (22, 24, 26) on a carrier (18) with a horizontal supprt surface (40, 42) on which the panel underside lies and parallel support surfaces for an inststallation element, especially a Tablar base (sic). Panel (22) has an increased thickness area with a projection (e.g. 60) on a support surface e.g. (40) and can be pushed sideways over this projection. An independent claim is included for a wall panel including a number of panels fastened to clamping profiles (10).
