PURPOSE:To obtain a solar battery module which can be sealed through a simple process and by a simple method. CONSTITUTION:The module is constituted by successively forming a conductive oxide metal layer 2, amorphous semiconductor layer 3, rear-surface metallic layer 4, and sealing rein layer 7 on a light transmitting substrate 1 and the layer 7 contains a steam barrier layer having a water vapor permeability rate of 1g/m<2>.day (at a 100mum thickness). Therefore, the performance of the module hardly deteriorates even when the module is used in the open air for a long time, because the oxidation of the layer 4 by water vapor can be prevented. |
