An adjustable conveyor guide rail unit 14 adapted to define the side of a channel 20 through which an article may be conveyed comprises a guide member 18 operable to be set in a plurality of discrete positions relative to the channel as a whole, allowing the width of the channel to be adjusted. The guide rail unit may also be moveable to allow the height of the channel to be adjusted. Methods of adjusting the width/height of a conveyor guide are also claimed, and a conveyor incorporating the guide is claimed. The guide rail may include clamping means 36, 40 for clamping the guide member in position, and may include a second guide member 16 disposed above the first guide member. The second guide member may be mounted on a support 64 attached to the first guide member. |
